Cross Cut File
Crosscut files are saw files developed exclusively for sharpening crosscut saws. A crosscut file’s cross section is having a triangular shape with a curved base. The triangular part of the file fits perfectly between the teeth of the saw and sharpens both the tooth edges of a saw at a time. Crosscut file is slightly tapered in thickness to make the filing stroke smoother as the file is already in motion before it fully engages with the edges of the saw’s teeth. It is having single cut geometry on both the faces and the rounded part of the blade.
